I am a writer, data scientist, and entrepreneur. I led the data science team at Pebble, the world’s first major smartwatch company. My work has been profiled in Fast Company, Forbes, Popular Science, and more. Before joining Pebble, I was a PhD candidate in physics at Cornell, where I won a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. More recently, I spent 2017-2018 as a visiting entrepreneur with the state government in Queensland, Australia.
I am currently an MFA candidate in writing at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
I live with my partner on the west side of Los Angeles, where my entire family (as of this writing, ten humans, two cats, and four dogs) has serendipitously migrated over the last few years.
