I am a writer, data scientist, and entrepreneur. My last full-time gig was as the Head of Data at Pebble, the world’s first major smartwatch company. My work has been profiled in Fast Company, Forbes, Popular Science, and more. Before leaving to take a job in Silicon Valley, I was a PhD candidate in physics at Cornell, where I won the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. More recently, I spent 2017-2018 as a visiting entrepreneur advising on economic development initiatives in Queensland, Australia.
I am currently an MFA in Writing candidate at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
I live with my partner on the west side of Los Angeles, where my entire family (as of this writing, ten humans, four dogs, and two cats) has serendipitously migrated over the last few years. Our family brunches are wild.
